Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is long-term treatment involving looking into past events to gain greater insight into present physical and emotional problems. Psychotherapy equips you with healthy coping skills to respond to challenging situations and reflect on life adjustments. You may seek psychotherapy to relieve anxiety and stress, adapting to major life changes, coping with trauma, or to learn to manage unhealthy reactions.

“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.’”

Eleanor Roosevelt

Counselling

Individual and Couples Counselling available

Counselling is short-term and involves focusing on present problems and specific situations or behaviour. Counselling aims to empower you to build action-based skills to accomplish various goals. We work together to give you the support, guidance and education to help you navigate your own solutions to current challenges. Counselling can be helpful for work or study related stress, temporary life adjustments, strengthening communication, or self-esteem difficulties.

Walk & Talk

Let’s take this outside and have our session as we walk to your favourite spot! Spending time outdoors and in a green environment has been found to help with improving mood and self-esteem, boosting your serotinin levels. Ask me more about this!

This is a photo of my favourite spot, a little hideaway waterfall in the Blue Mountains.
